My pets are my children and I expect everyone to treat them like so-more so in MY home.

The lady lives in regret because this girl won't listen to her no matter what. She is far gone already and it's so sad.

I am glad I talked to her though. I could have just alienated her like the rest.....but took a stab at it and was very truthful. She's still around
You did the right thing when you talked to your friend. You're a good friend! She needs to get whatever help she needs to take control of her child. I can't imagine what's going to happen as this child gets older. She can mind, you've proved it and her mother needs to jump in there and take control. My pets are my children, too, and they live here, so anyone visiting has to adjust. My pets are made to mind, but it works both ways. If you don't like dogs, don't plan to spend much time at my house. They are my family and they live here and anyone visiting needs to be aware of that. Their cuddle beds are in my living room and their toys are probably scattered all over. The ferret's big cage sits in my living room. If you spend much time at my house, you will have a dog in your lap and perhaps a little white ferret inspecting the back of your neck as you sit on the couch. My pets are sweet and affectionate and they enjoy company. Anyone considering mistreating one of them will have me to deal with very quickly!!
