| Look what I saw in People Magazine I was reading my People magazine when I came across this. Yorkshire Terriers are in and Maltese are out. I like them both! I think they are both cute dogs P.S. sorry for the bad scan

| Hey, that's interesting! lol, I'm seeing more and more Yorkies around. Maltese really are hard to keep up. My aunt has one and I think it's harder to keep their coat white than to keep a Yorkie looking gorgeous! But, I love both too. |

| Well I can understand why, Maltese you got to brush 40 times a day or keep them cut short. (which i personallydont like). anyway just look at them yorkie faces on here who could resist.

| i love yorkies!i love all my babies even my maltese! i don't mind the grooming.. i knew what i was coming into when i was getting her, but she's a sweetheart just like my other two. it just sucks to hear that they are "out" when they are "in" in my heart. But I dooo Love yorkies!! and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get another yorkie baby! I probably will later down the road.. like Natalie says, instead of me being the old lady with cats, i'll be the old lady with doggies Yorkies at that! |

| I have one of each. I never realized maltese were in. I very rarely bump into anyone with a malt but see yorkies all the time. I believe yorkies have been in the top 10 AKC registered dogs for several years. Don't think the malts ever have. Maltese hair is very difficult to maintain. Yorkies are a breeze.

| I agree with Kim. My mom has a Maltese that I dearly love. His name is Duster and he is a cuddle bug. I'd love to have one someday. But if I had to choose which one I like better it would have to be Yorkies!!
