Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | ? Baby Blessing may get new playmate sister I am so excited, we may have found Baby Blessing a sister playmate, I will go see her again in the morning and make the final decision on her. If we get her we are going to name her Tanzanita and call her Tanzie for short, that is the name we had decided on since we first started looking for another I am hoping Baby Blessing won't have any problem adjusting with another, she is just so spoiled. One thing concerned me about the new puppy, when I picked the little one up she was shaking, her brothers didn't, which took awhile for her to stop. That was the reason I decided to make the final decision in the morning. Has anyone else experienced that with a small one. She will be 12 weeks old monday. Thanks, Patti and Jack and Baby Blessing says me too. |

| Hi, I'm sure Baby Blessing would love to have a playmate I'm not sure about the shaking thing but perhaps she was just a little scared. I hope everything works out for you and your family.

| The night I picked up my little one from the breeder, at 12 weeks old, when she put him in my arms he was shaking and it took a while to reassure him and calm him down. He's 15 months now and is just fine. I notice that when he meets new people even now, he shakes all over at first (part of it is caused by rapid tail wagging, but part of it is actual shaking). I think in your case it's just a very young little dog trying to make sense of her surroundings. Good luck!

| I am so excited for you guys if this turn out to be "the one"!!! You have been so patiently waiting for a new little one!! Congrats!! My Cooper will get the shakes very easily, when he is scared, excited, or unsure of the situation. This is also how I react to stress , so maybe that is all it is, a stress reaction of new places/people/things.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Awww! I am so excited for you!!! Baby Blessing will LOVE having a new baby sister!!! Tatum shook too when we first went to see her - and the second time actually. But she was the smallest one (still very tiny, and STILL shakes alot of the time..) and her sister or brother didn't shake either. I think her size has something to do with it (Stedman never shook like this) and on top of it all, it always takes her a while to warm up to people. She was QUITE scared of us at first - but she warmed up to us quickly. If anyone new comes over though, she shy's away from them and runs to mommy. Once she gets to know you she is happy and playful and such a sweetheart - but it does take a while. If she doesn't know you - she doesn't want ANYTHING to do with you, LOL. I guess she listens to what mommy tells her, "don't talk to strangers" - haha!

| It just sounds like what my vet calls the "yorkie shivers" - they're kind of notorious for it. I wouldn't worry about it as long as the puppy is healthy.

| Patti, congratulations to you, Jack & Baby Blessings on your new baby. Sometimes puppies go through a "fear" period between 3 & 4 mos. It part of the process to becoming fearless. hugs
