| My Jax humps all the time. He will pile all of his toys up and go at it He even has a "humpy bone" that is his favorite. With that, he will drag it outside and do obscene things to it and I hope my neighbors don't think I'm crazy!! But he's been doing this since 3 months old and I asked my vet about it. The vet said it has to deal with domination and with toys, it's perfectly fine. But he said not to let the doggie hump legs or arms because he will think he is dominating you (humans). Hope this helps

| Chachi did this alot before he was neutered. He started doing it every now and then after he was neutered and I would tell him no when he did it and he stopped doing it all together. There was a yorkie on here that threw his back out while dong it

| Due June 30th, we're having a girl. So Winnie's going to be a big sister! And I have enjoyed being pregnant, although now I'm starting the waddle, def have to run to the bathroom every 2 hours, have trouble getting in and out of bed and can longer bend over. I complain, but then I look down and I love my belly and the baby within. Winnie however thinks the belly is her personal trampoline. I have a feeling the two of them together will be quite the trouble makers. |

| I agree with what was said previously. It is just dominance behavior and I would not discourage it unless it is being done to another person. If you discourage it with other dogs you are disrupting pack order. |

The main reason I discourage him at the dog park is because people seem to get really mad at the other dog's owner when their dog is getting humped. I've even seen some owners chew others out when their dog is getting humped by another. I don't want someone to do that to me. Personally, it wouldn't bother me if my dog got humped a little. Most of the time, I find it funny because the humper usually doesn't even know how to do it. Sometimes, he will even be humping the wrong end. But then again, Wesley doesn't let dogs hump him...he's always the humper.... | |

| I think it's a dominance thing. I had a dog when the kids were small that would attach a rug when I threw them outside. The kids came running in crying they said momma come quick Max has rabies. Jackie |
