| Yorkie On The Edge Jeremiah is a dare devil! He jumps on and off the couch. On and off the beds. He climbs places where he could fall but he doesn't. I am such a bad mommy. I try to get him when I can but it is hard. My great grandfather died on Thursday in the hospital a few hours after I got JeBo. Would I be a terrible mommy if I said that I don't want him right now. I truly wished I got him on my birthday. Stress is killing my family but mainly my mom. She was the closest to my great grandfather. We are trying to fulfil his last wishes to be buried in Columbus, OH in the ceremtery where his first wife, my great grandmother(second wife), my ucle , his son, and my great aunt was buried. But furneral homes are cheating my family out of money. Everyone is welling to pay everything, we just want to fulfil his last wishes. He used to live with us before he died.It is quiet as hell. And I am scared. Everyone thinks that Jeremiah is my great grandfather. But I think it is true.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I posted to you earlier and said how sorry I am that you lost your great grandfather - you are lucky to have known him ...really you are - most people don't have that privledge and I sure wish I knew mine ....It's hard losing someone we love and our pets feel our sadness. Jeramiah may be responding to the sadness and tension since you lost your G-Grandfather, and maybe take a few minutes and love on him ? He may be acting out like kids do when they want attention - and they need it especially when they're puppies - they really thrive on our love ...and if you let him....he can help you through your loss. Again ...I'm sorry for your loss. |

| I am so sorry to hear about your great grandfather. You know how lucky you are to have had him so long. A death of a close relative is always very hard. I lost my father a year ago tomorrow. Just keep trying to remember the happy things about him and maybe JeBo will soon be a happy reminder. My dad had squirrel boxes in the front and back tree at his house where he raised batches of squirrel babies - the day after he passed away, I saw a dead squirrel on the road and thought 'now daddy has a new squirrel with him up there'.

| Thanks you two! I am trying to love on JeBo as much as I can. I am guilty have to go to Ohio. He and Jane have to stay in a kennel while we are gone. I want him to come with me but we don't know where we are staying. A hotel or my dad's parents house.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Good luck .....I've never left mine but I think you can request they get put together so they can keep each other company and aren't so scared....When I used to have to leave mine at the groomer for a few hours - I made sure they were always in the same waiting cage...even though I hated the cage idea - I know it's necessary.

| Sometimes in life, you have to do what is necessary. Take good care of yourself and your family as best as possible. I remember when my grandfather passed away, I left my children home with their father. I had never been away from them at all. I felt soo bad about that, but my mother needed me more. If you do what you feel is the right thing, when all is said and done, you will feel good about it. Happiness is just ahead. You will have lots of time to love JeBo

| I am so sorry to hear about your great grandpa, but I think if you get rid of Jebo then you will be suffering the loss of two great friends instead of one. Pets understand when you're suffering. Just look into his eyes, and he'll let you know how bad he feels for your pain. |

| Thanks Laura. You give great advice. I am happy I have JeBo here with me. He is cuddling on my lap right now. Have to enjoy him as much as I can before I go.

| I am so sorry to read of your loss. I hope that your great-grandfather had the kind of life that, when he is in the here-after, he will look back and say "Thank all of you in my life for helping making it the wonderful journey it was!" These Yorkies have a sense about them that try our patience to the limit and then give us love that only they can give. You will enjoy JeBo in the months ahead so give yourself time.. |
