Smelling is ok, I'd do that too (with permission from the owner to pet the dog) but practically shoving fingers into her mouth for kisses or saying "kissy kissy" or makin kissy noises is NOT ok.

Sticking their face near hers...never ok. It's happened lots. Including yesterday at Costco by an old man.

Working in health care, I've seen WAY too much nasty stuff & you never know what people have.

I don't want my baby getting sick (or dying) just because people want little doggie kisses.

London is only 2 lbs and when I take her out ppl are all over us. I have had ppl ask to hold her (children) and I say no but politely because it's dangerous...or I'll make up an excuse and say she doesn't like other ppl to hold her. Also I hate when ppl think they can just touch her and put their fingers in front of her mouth so she can lick them. This guy tried to do that yesterday with his dirty fingers and I pulled her away and said she bites. I don't like random ppl touching her....I don't mind them petting her if they ask but not asking her to lick their fingers...YUCK

I agree What makes ppl think they can do this?? She doesn't belong to THEM!! lol
