Funny but REAL Problem

Why Cheri will NOT pee outside if the grass tickles her little butt or is too wet.... yet this morning she was all in the wet grass toad hunting and I had to physically carry her in - and didn't mind a bit ! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT ?

Mine are like that too, the run up and jump on and are soaking wet, roll in the grass and all. But then they pee on my patio!!!

OMG - That's EXACTLY what she does ! Then Chanel has to pee OVER it cause she's the big sister lol...

I have them in the front yard too - so I really think we all have them - my neighbors where I toss them don't have any outside pets - but they do have a pool and I try really hard to avoid that though I do hear an occasional splash...ooooops !

Okay Villette...I think I've got an answer for your problem! Relocate...I mean the toads...not you! Throw them into a big bucket or big trash bag...put them in the trunk of your car and drive miles away and dump em! I don't know much about toads...we don't have them here, thank goodness! I was just thinking that if you throw them over the fence, they don't have far to come back to your yard. A few miles away they could find someone else to irritate. I doubt this is a helpful suggestion, but it's the only thing I could think of...and actually pictured it in my mind...you...with a trench coat over your jammies...sunglasses...looking suspicious putting something in the trunk of your car and leaving. Hee hee.

lol That would be hilarious if you were throwing them into your neighbors yard and then late at night your neighbor comes out after you went back in and wonder "Dangit, where the heck did all these freakin' toads come from?" and throw them back into your yard! Those toads might be the same toads being thrown back and forth! What are the chances, haha

In Dallas, we're having a possum problem!! We've found about 3 possums and they're so much bigger than Fred. I'm scared to let him outside at night sometimes. He'll chase them all over the place.

Oh goodness- I really don't mean to laugh but I really can't help it. Toad terrorists-- too funny!!!! We get the little toads here in Ohio mainly when it rains alot- which lately is everyday -- And the first time Luig caught one- i freaked - called the vet and she said they aren't poisonus here either. But I couldn't get Luig to let go of it - I was chasing him and yelling at him, then all of a sudden Luig dropped the toad andstarted whimpering, almost like he was whining! The vet told me that the toad must have pp'd in his mouth and she told me to make sure he had plenty of water, and to expect lots of drooling which he did. But the fuuny part is now when he sees a toad, he whimpers and runs from it. He must have learned his lesson!!!
I wish I had advise for you, but I don't. But your neighbor is probably doing the same thing you are.

Connie and Natalie - I could hardly type from laughing.....If I could touch them I'd MARK their backs ! Now I got to watch the neighbors on top of where I step ? lol

...and that sneaking out in the night with a bucketfull of toads ??? lol ! That could be sooo embarrassing - what if I got stopped ? WHAT WOULD I SAY ? "Hi Officer - I'm Villette...friend to the Toads of the world and I'm setting them free" ??? lol... They're ALREADY FREE !! They'd think I lost my noodle...

Luig - Take it from Chanel - they ALWAYS taste bad and you're a smart boy to leave them alone - Will you have a talk with Chanel cause she is determined to play with one...she must think the Drooly Wet look is sexy

You are cracking me up! But, Hey! Im thinking of another idea! If snakes eat toads, people have snakes for pets! Get it! Open a toad stand! I heard of a boy who caught grasshoppers for $2 a yard last year and sold them as bait - double whammy. You could become the first TOAD QUEEN! all thanks to your pups.

hmmmm....something to think about ! since I'm already the Master of Toad Tossing ....

I could also start my own Reality Show called Toad Toss - Each contestant must be wearing nighties....run thru a PITCH BLACK yard....GRAB a empty plant pot - scoop up the toad and wing it as far as they can - Points off for landing in the pool - trees etc....and all the while avoiding little turd patches - and there will be a time limit and you HAVE to make it over the fence with the toad - (not as easy as it sounds either)

Does this sound like a hit ?



The follow up show could be an infomercial selling GREAT mosquito repellant - I could collect all the tossed toads from the first show and sell them in batches on the 2nd show - I think you're on to something !!! lol....and I can see by the posts here I have some competition ? Any takers ?

Sounds like a winner to me Can't wait to see it! Of course, you already have so much practice, you couldn't be a contestant, it just wouldn't be fair. I can just see the dollars rolling in.
