Oh goodness- I really don't mean to laugh but I really can't help it.

Toad terrorists-- too funny!!!! We get the little toads here in Ohio mainly when it rains alot- which lately is everyday

-- And the first time Luig caught one- i freaked - called the vet and she said they aren't poisonus here either. But I couldn't get Luig to let go of it - I was chasing him and yelling at him, then all of a sudden Luig dropped the toad andstarted whimpering, almost like he was whining!

The vet told me that the toad must have pp'd in his mouth and she told me to make sure he had plenty of water, and to expect lots of drooling which he did. But the fuuny part is now when he sees a toad, he whimpers and runs from it. He must have learned his lesson!!!
I wish I had advise for you, but I don't. But your neighbor is probably doing the same thing you are.
