| Does she want the dog? If the guy is on drugs, he may just let her have it so he doesnt have to worry about it. |

| Looks like she's in a pickle. If she asks and he says no and she does something anyway, he might try for revenge. If she just takes the dog and he comes looking for it, he might look for revenge. If she calls any of the offices that are supposed to help, they may put him to sleep. I don't know what I'd do in a situation like that. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Oh that is SO TERRIBLE ... I just went thru this 4 months ago with one of my neighbors ! Chanel alerted by barking at a corner she NEVER goes to in my yard - I climed my fence and saw my neighbors white lab mix huddled in the corner of his yard - I took pics with my zoom lens.... called the SPCA AND emailed the pics to them - I've never done this before and was sort of scared they would put him to sleep. I still have the pictures and they are TRULY SICKENING ... I would post one but it's too graphic - his face and hind legs were RAW. Due to those Pictures... within 2 days they rescued this poor dog - they said he was dying right in his own back yard didn't know if he would make it ....Then called me again telling me he was responding to treatment - To impress me even more - Ernie the Investigator called me 2 times to let me know how this baby was and thanked me with a followup letter which blew me away - Ernie is on the show Animal Cops Houston - and I was very impressed with how much he cared. This dog was suffering - I'm sure any of you would have done the same thing...but the overall experience really made me feel good - and I heard he was adopted to a family who will love him. So Kimberly - you can share this with that site if you want - With the Digital cameras and movies we can document abuse when we see it - We can make a difference if we try ! I can honestly say the the image of me hanging on my fence ...aiming my camera in my neighbors yard with my zoom lens.... made me feel like the neighborhood perv....but I am SO GLAD I did it and would do it again no question.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Thank you - that was really sweet to say.... but if you saw what I saw you would have done the same thing - I admit being a little wary of the outcome ...I didn't want to be responsible for a dog being put to sleep... but suffering is even worse and there was no choice. The funny thing is I think they saw me - the day after I took the pics they moved him into the garage... but the investegators tracked him down and the owner surrendered him. |
