Our little boy who we have had for about 11 weeks is having seizures and other symptons of liver shunt or mvd. Our tests ruled out liver shunt. We are waiting on more results. Thanks everyone for your wishes and prayers. My Boo-Boo is better at the minute but because of the valium that I had administered last night, he walks on all directions. I even have to hold him when he drinks watter otherwise his head goes straight in. He's so disorientated poor bugger. Hopefully he'll be up and running again in no time.

I recieved my puppy one month ago. 2 days after we recieved him he went into a comma and seizers at 3 a.m. in the morning it was so scary we rushed into the vet he was there 3 days...all they told me was hypoclicemic...however after he came home he kept walking like he was drunk and it happened a lot seizers only happened once in a while...so he at that time had loss of hunger and back at the vet he was put on IV's and looks just like your puppy witht the shaved legs where the IV's where he had 3 of them...we were then force feeding him and eventually ended up getting aspirated pneamonia but after getting over that he is fine. also during that time they were looking for a liver shunt and after xrays and that blood work it was negitive...a week after getting over being sick now he is so hyper and i wish the best for you i was ready to give up so i know what you are going through...let me know if you have any questions...

Thanks for your best wishes. Your poor baby. I am sorry that happened but I am really happy he is better now. How long did his ceasures use to last for and what medications did u used. The vet gave me some valium which I administer myself every time he goes into a ceisure.

Do not buy undersized Yorkshire Terriers they are prone to many problems.

Thanks Deborah. When I brought mine he was the right size for his age but he stayed like that. I never wanted really tiny ones but I guess that he's better off with me now, seeing that we can afford all the treatments. Otherwise who knows where he would have ended up?!?!?!I just hope that he'll get better soon, and he'll run around again like he use to.
