| That's just down-right untrue. There are plenty on this site to prove that.

| We are a throw away society. I always feel that if someone has the capacity to do that to an animal, then they can't be that responsible around human beings either. It just angers me to no end people who buy dogs on a whim, and then when the dog doesn't do the right thing (ie: get potty trained fully in 2 days, keep its mouth shut, etc) then it goes to the pound or whatever. I love some of the excuses for people who turn animals over to shelter. Too sad. |

| What a sad story. I hope those poor babies find good homes and live long and happy lives.

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Teens are not responsible enough to have a small dog like this. My 16 yr old said she wanted Baby to be "her" dog, but when it comes to feeding, watering, walking, brushing, bathing, etc... I do all the work, so guess what! Baby is MY girl LOL I do make her do stuff for baby cause i think she needs to learn this responsibility, she may moan and groan, but it's good for her lol As far as this guy re homing these innocent little babies, maybe it was the best thing, maybe now these little babies will find great owners who will appreciate them! |

| when I hear that someone got a dog for Christmas, it just raises a red flag to me- especially as a gift for kids. A LOT of such dogs end up at a shelter, once novelty wears off or the puppy grows up this is so maddening.

| Too bad "well to do, fine upstanding citizens" doesn't always mean brains or heart. I think often it means spoiled and uncaring. kim

| Discarded Yorkies I would hope that each city in the US has a no-kill shelter available. There are Yorkie rescue groups that have their names available at kill shelters and contacted the instant a Yorkie or Yorkie look alike (small dog, etc) is brought in. Such a sad story to hear and they probably were stuck in the crate and told to "shut up".

Those kids treated the animals according to the example that have been set for them. What do you want to bet their parents have spent little real time with those kids as they've grown up? That to me is equally as sad. | |
