It's like easy picking. Yes, people could steal my car if they really, really wanted to. But they would have a heck of a lot more trouble w/ my doors locked, windows up and alarm on than w/ everything wide open and ready to go. Everybody to their own but I personally keep all mine safe inside.
And w/ English bulldogs you have to be extra careful in the heat. They will easily overheat, their tongues will swell and their throats close. And peke's have the smooshed faces so their nasal cavities are smaller and will cause difficulty breathing when out in the heat. It's sad but true. Even with shade and water it will happen. AC is the only true prevenative. Maybe a doggie door would work at your house?[/QUOTE
Yes i know the dangers of leaving the dogs outside but the peke was original an outside dog before i got her she used to stay outside with a pit bulls. It is still cool here we haven't gotten the hot weather yet. I know the dangers of the english bulldog he has had surgery on his nose already when it starts getting hot he will stay inside but for now he is outside during the day. my iguana stay outside for now also. when i am at home and the dogs want to go outside i let them and they for hours before they decide to scratch to come in. |
