| ![]() Haruka is trained to go outside and also go on peepad. I am glad that I trained her that way since it is hard to take her out in rainy and snow days. I used to dog sit my friends' dogs who go only outside to pee and poop... it was the hardest thing. I rarely leave Haruka at home alone, but when I have a long day and a meeting somewhere else. I feel better about leaving her home because she wouldn't hold.. She would go on peepad... and I have the big playpen for things like that.

| ![]() I started my Bijou out on puppy pads. I had never done this with any of my other dogs but she was so little when I got her. Not to mention that during December when she came home to me, we were having day after day of below zero temps. She was to cold to go outside, much less go outside and sniff around for a pee/poop spot. Thus, we put a few wee pads around the kitchen area. She began using those like a pro. Now that the weather is nicer, she loves going outside with the rest of the zoo.

| ![]() it depends on how did the breeder train themm before you got them home w/ you...i usually send a week worth of puppy pads so the puppies is using the same thing and slowly train them outside as they get a bit older. ![]() |
