Chanel is gorgeous. I am curious, I just got a three year old Yorkie about five weeks ago. She does not play with any toys, but likes to chase the vacuum cleaner and my duster on a long pole. Does Chanel play with toys?

Also, I am wondering about Chanel's bows. Do they hve rubber bands on them, or clips?

Do you groom her yourself? My Yorkie looks similar, but her hair is shorter.

You really have a beautiful little dog. How much does she weigh?

Hi Kate - Congratulations on your new yorkie !! I can help with some answers - Yes...Chanel plays constantly - more than Cheri who is a year old...If you just got your baby recently she may still be a little shy ?

Both my girls LOVE the vacuum cleaner - They play that "See if you can Suck Up My Face" game....why they like this I sure don't know... but it IS funny !

About your baby not playing - Have you tried the Talking Toys ? Chanel goes NUTS over the Monkey and Frog that make noises - (Petco sells them) but she goes nuts over any toy really...

On their bows - I have nice bows but for everyday I use Petedge bows - they have rubber bands. I use a little CC Systems Ice on Ice so they don't stick to their hair - just spray a little on my hand and smooth it on their heads then I do their hair - Hope this helps and I'd love to see your 3 year old baby !

I got some rounded scissors from Petsmart today for $13. Not only can you use then to trim eyes, but I used it to trim up his ears and some other hairy places . They worked great and he's not that scared of them 'cuz they don't make loud noises like clippers!

I guess I have to get those a try cause Gucci hates my scissors, she bite them when I try to trim her hair.

Do it when they are sleeping. I swear mine's perfectly still and thinks its just a dream if he kinda wakes up, because he just crashes again. It worked so great!

Hi Kate - Petedge is a site for all dog/cat related products Pet Edge - you can sign up and receive a free order magazine also...Chris Christensen Products are available at CC Systems ...most people get the Daily Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner and it's rare to hear they don't like it - Ice on Ice Spray on is good also...Good luck with your new baby !

Ladies thanks so much for your tips. My hubby has one of those battery things , so I think I'll try that first. Of course that's on my imagenery dog until I get a flesh and blood one. LOL
