Memphis is famous for this sort of thing. Unopened tampon??? hmf, try a used one wrapped in TP when company was over. I was not a happy camper.

But anyway, I have found that the easiest way to get him to stop running from me was to lay down on the floor face up. Just lay there. And if they dont see you lay down, move to where they can see you. Curiosity is going to get the best of them, Then they can not fight the urge to run up and kiss you and play king/queen of the mountain on you.

OMG I would have been mortified!!! My dog would have lost ALL bathroom priveleges after that go around...

YIKES!!!!!!!! I would have crawled under the nearest.....well anything. They are faster though when you are trying to get something back from them.

luckily tino's run and grab is usually a pair of shoes and even at 4lbs, he cant get very far, very fast, so I usually win that one! He did have one of my diamond earrings that fell off my vanity and it was gone for a few days. All of a sudden it just turned up in one of his beds in the living room! Thank heavens!

I can tollerate the grab and run. On the other hand if Lacijo is out of the bedroom she'll buckle up and try to go toilet anywhere on the floor. Try catching one when she knows she's supposed to go to the laundry room and use the paper.

Oh, no, she runs for the bedroom, sometimes leaving little poops behind her, and I find out she didn't go in the bedroom because the door is shut. But when I reach her and she's crowded up against the door like, like, like a scared little dog, and I reach for the door handle, she flies back up the hall like if I caught her I was going to beat her to death! When I open the door she flies back past me and runs right to daddy's side of the bed and tries to get him to pick her up.

All, I did was holler "Laci, NO!", jump up and chase her thru the house, open the door for her and she's acting like I'm going to kill her. The worst I have ever done her was to pick her up, scolding her all the way, take her in the laundryroom, or bathroom, put her on the paper, pick up a corner of the paper, shake it gently and say "On the paper Laci, on the paper!"

The breeder used newspaper on her floor and when I brought Lacijo and Mr. Big home they went there naturally. Somebody is sneaking around and using my bedroom floor as their toilet. If it was bigger I'd think it was Lady. Mr. Big's not shy, he'll use the paper while I'm using the toilet. He's the only one. If someone needs the paper while I'm in there, I find it in the floor when I come out. Pirogue on the other hand is a gentleman, he waits until I come out. Again, he's the only one. Hmmm, just realized, the boys are good and the girls are nasty. Hmmmm.
