| Welcome I am relatively new, not even a month and I am actually a Senior Yakker now! You will find a wealth of info here. I gained so much knowledge just reading through the old threads. Chewy is my yorkie and he is almost 4 months old. |

| Zion is a great name! When I introduced my second dog I was told to put dog #1 in a seperate place (yard, etc). Let dog #2 roam around the house & smell dog #1. Then Put dog #2 in seperate area & let dog #1 sniff around the house to get used to #2's scent. Then intoduce the 2 in a neutral area (not your home - the park or someplace that your original dog doesn't feel protective of). Good luck & let us know how you make out!!

| Thank you yes Zion is strong we are from Jamaica and my husband has all of Bob Marleys records. and about 3 days after Zion was in our APT my husband played "Iron like a Lion in Zion" - and the dog went crazy - so that is how he got his name! as far as the advice.. thank you sounds great. I was watching a TLC programme and the advice was similiar.. never introduce the two dogs in your home -- always in a new area. so thank you Anyone got anything to add? |
