Zion is a great name!
When I introduced my second dog I was told to put dog #1 in a seperate place (yard, etc). Let dog #2 roam around the house & smell dog #1. Then Put dog #2 in seperate area & let dog #1 sniff around the house to get used to #2's scent. Then intoduce the 2 in a neutral area (not your home - the park or someplace that your original dog doesn't feel protective of).
