| We have leash laws in our town and in the country. I wish they would obey the law too, I'm tired of dodging dogs on my bus route. If it comes down to it, I will have to hit the dogs to keep my bus kids safe. I would just hate for it to come down to that. They just chase me and are right by those big tires.

| Where I live the authorities actually have to see the dog being aggressive or breaking code. The simple solution is to video record the dog being aggressive and the owners irresponsible and smug reaction. Then the AC has some concrete proof that this guy is a poor example of dog ownership. Pepper spray is also a good last resort. |

| Where I live there IS leash law. My neighbor and I were walking one day and she had her dog with us. He was on a leash. Other dog came charging and attacked her dog. And of couse, the owner was laughing at the whole thing! This is where her cellphone came into use. We got far enough away first, then called the cops and waited for them to arrive, and filed a complaint. No wonder I thought bringing Adonis with us in that nieghborhood wasn't a good idea. I'm afrid I'd have to kick the krap out of someones dog if it attacked mine. But sadly, its not the dogs fault. Its the owners. They should be held responsible if their dog is not in their yard and on a leash. |
