| Brushing Teeth - Do you only brush the outside? I can't brush the inside and I am wondering if brushing just the outside of the teeth is enough.

| I've always heard that brushing the outside of the teeth is sufficient since their tongue apparently keeps the inside clean - makes sense since you never see tarter build up on the inside of the teeth.

| I only brush the outside. I have also read their tongue clean the inside of their teeth. I can only keep him still for that long so I just brush the outside.

| I just put the toothpaste on the brush and give it to maggie. she loves it and will chew on both ends and I figure chewing on the bristles help get stuff between her teeth out and gets near the gum line better than me trying to brush them since she loves it so much. I got this idea from someone on here a while back. thanks to whoever it was. lol. its been a good while back.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I was really hoping this is what you would say. There is just no way I could get the brush inside those little mouths. Bama Yorkie Mom, that's a great idea. Mine love the toothpaste too.
