| I am noticing that a lot of posters give their yorkies foods that are on the "No" list and say that their baby did not have a negative reaction to those foods. You may want to keep in mind that some problems may occur later on, because of those foods. It's like smoking cigaretts...it will catch up with you at some point. Just my opinion. Threads like this reinforce my feeling that I could not leave Prince with a friend because I would be afraid that he would get something he shouldn't have, just because he liked it.

| Roxie has such a delicate tummy...I have to be careful about what I give her. If I do give her people food I limit it to positively tiny amounts. She likes carrots, strawberries, blueberries, (sometimes) bananas, green beans, peas, plain white rice, and cheese. Chicken and apples both made her throw up.

| No Longer a Member | All I was saying was because he didn't have a negative reaction I didn't think anything of it. I knew about the grapes and onions and a lot of the common ones, just the tomatoes threw me off, and if you look closer its the vines that are most toxic then leaves, then the green non-ripe tomatoes. If I had any question what-so-ever about whether or not something was safe I wouldn't feed it to him. Normally he doesn't get "people food" I just figured tomatoes are great for people, they should be good for dogs too. I've learned and won't continue to feed them to him, and that I need to let my g-ma know not to feed her toy poodles tomatoes either. |

This was meant to be a very general post, I wasn't directing it towards anyone.

| Zoe likes apples, cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, bananas, (just about anything my parrot throws out of her cage), small pieces of cooked meat. I know there's more but can't think of anything else right now.
