| Diapers? OK OK, so I have another general question, therefore I am starting a new thread...Hope you guys dont think I am over thinking but I really do not have anyone else in my life to answer these questions for me...So apologies in advance! Do doggie diapers work? Pros? Cons? Can I just put one on my baby Yorkie when I get him so that he wont really pee on the carpet too much? Then would this mean that he will pee all over the place if he doesnt have diapers on later? Thanks to you all my Yorkie lover friends! |

Thank you so much for your response! Could you please tell me what "belly bands" are? Whats the difference between a belly band and a diaper? I agree with you, I dont mind the poop. It's solid and easy to remove but pee stains make me sick! Could you also tell me if I start to use belly bands, would this mean that everytime I take off the belly band, the dog will start to pee all over the place? Thanks in advance for your responses! -Isil | |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Hey, If you don't mind I'll jump in here Belly bands are great for little men. They can be made differently some with plastic lining some without, with velcro or snaps etc but they all do the same purpose. They are meant to be used with a panty liner to absorb the urine and can be worn anytime. Like a belt or cumberbund. Sometimes just the pressure of the pad and band will stop them from peeing until you take it off and take them outside. I do suggest that as soon as it is taken off you take them outside to go. But after they go you should do the usual praising and let them know outside is the perfect place to go. If your wanting to try them without spending a ton, I have a super special on them right now if you go to the for sale section and look up Belly Bands. I hope you find what you need.

| bands The key is to prevent peeing accidents..once the odor is in the carpets you are sunk...keep him penned or on washable floors..use bands when he is running free. If he squats, take him out or to a pee pad and remove the band..they prevent bad habits from starting..like returning to the odor to pee again... |
