Belly bands are great for little men. They can be made differently some with plastic lining some without, with velcro or snaps etc but they all do the same purpose. They are meant to be used with a panty liner to absorb the urine and can be worn anytime. Like a belt or cumberbund. Sometimes just the pressure of the pad and band will stop them from peeing until you take it off and take them outside.
I do suggest that as soon as it is taken off you take them outside to go. But after they go you should do the usual praising and let them know outside is the perfect place to go.
