This made for a miserable drive home for him, wet from his throw-up and me with nothing to pull over and clean him up with. In fact, I still keep a small container of wipes in my glove compartment even though he doesn't get carsick anymore.

| Change of plans. I got Keely today. She did really well in the car. She threw up once, we stopped at my boyfriends mothers house and we found it cleaned it up. She is so adorable. I just love her. I will post pictures of her tomorrow.

| She is doing really well. She slept pretty much all through the night. I have a question though to all of you. How often should I feed her? I read it says 3-4 times a day when they are still puppies. But I just want to make sure I'm not letting her starve. How many hours between each meal? Thanks!!

| I am so happy you have your baby. how old is she? I still feed maggie 3 times a day and she is 5 months old tomorrow. i find that she doesn't even eat it all. I feed her in the morning when I get up. it usually takes her until lunch time to finish all of that and then I give her more. she doesn't eat much of the lunch at all. then I feed her again at dinner adn she usually finishes that by the time she goes to bed. she is very finikky. she loves her food, she gets very excited when she sees me go for it and eats a few bites very excitedly. but she is not a big eater. but to answer your question...I think 3 times a day is what most people do. I think. This is what everyone told me to do anyway. I find that maggie will eat when she is hungry. now that she is out of the "danger zone" for the hyperglycemia, I don't force it on her. I leave whatever she doesn't finish out...and she is free to eat it at her will. Not everyone does this. I have heard several people say to offer it for a few minutes then take it up. and this will help them get on a schedule. But Maggie does fine with "free feeding"...so to say. some dogs eat themselves stupid but she is just not one of them. I would rather leave the food out for her and know that she is getting plenty than to short her on her meal if she does not eat it all within a few minutes. but every dog is different. you will learn what is best for you and your pup. gee..this is long...sorry congrats again.

| I fed Cali 3 times a day until she was about 5-6 months. She wasn't eating much during lunch so I stopped that. Now I just feed her breakfast and dinner. However, I leave some dry food down for her in case she get hungry. CONGRATS!

Thanks. She is 8 weeks old today. I fed her this morning when I got up and that was around 10am. I gave her less than a 1/3 a cup because she doesn't eat it all. She takes it out of the bowl and leaves it all over. LOL! I've noticed she likes to swim in her lil water dish too. I walk away for two seconds and she spilt it all over her wee wee pad. LOL Silly lil girl. So i'm going to stick with three times a day. Thanks for the advice. But she is just adorable. She doesn't bark at all. She didn't whine at all last night either. I will post pictures of her later on. Right now she is sleeping in her play pen.
