| Yorkie on a motorcycle? A motorcycle pulled up next to me at a traffic light. The rider was carrying his yorkie in a front pouch strapped to his body. The yorkie seemed to be enjoying the ride. I am just not sure how I feel about it. My husband and I also ride and I would love to carry my baby with me on the bike. Does anyone here ride? Thoughts?

BANNED! | I do ride and my boy loves to go with me!!! He has his own jacket and doggles for eye protection. I can help you with getting a special made harness for this if you would like. They are custom made to fit your pet. |

| My dad has a Harley and he really wants to take Rocky out on it. I have a Ninja (crotch rocket) so I don't think I'll be able to ride w/ Rocky on it unless I get a backpack for him.

| I have wonderd the same thing We ride and both my husbands and my family all ride so I have thought about taking Dusty on some of our day long rides but I am worried he wouldnt do good. Besides my three year old little girl is in my lap behind her daddy. She has been riding since she was about three months old and loves it.

| Ok I thought twice about posting but I see you ask for our "thoughts" so here is mine: I really wouldn't take the chance on putting my yorkie in a highly dangerous situation, I'm sure you and your husband are excellent riders and hopefully have never gotten in an accident but what happen if you do there's a chance that YOU will survive but what about your baby he will be killed instantly....You have a helmet and protective gear but what does your baby have.........Nothing. I'm just saying that I would never do anything like that its just too dangerous but thats soley MY opinion. I guess thats just a chance you will have to decide if you want to take or not.

| You can also go to Celltie and they have a bag or a custom bag for your baby when you ride. This one makes it so the baby is not so "open" in the wind. I know a lot of people that ride with their babies...my father in law and wife ride with their pom between them in a front pack and its so cute! I've thought about doing it too, but first I know my girl would take some getting used to the noise and all, and second I can't help but have thoughts like "Yorkie mommy" sometimes! Even tho I want to do it, something always tells me "what IF something happened?" You never plan to go down, but if we did, I would have so much guilt that I put her in that possition Mixed emotions for me, but think its ok if your ok with it

| WE HAD A BMW FOR THE LONGEST TIME, BUT I DON'T THINK I WILL TAKE THE CHANCE TO HAVE MY DOG WITH ME, IN CASE OF A ACCIDENT OR SOMENTHING .TO SCARY, AND I KNOW MY HUBBY IS A EXCELLENT DRIVER, UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE NOT SO GOOD DRIVER OUTHERE, AND WE HAD OUR SCARY TIMES. ONE NIGHT HE WAS COMMING FROM HOME AND SOME TEENS IN A CAR WAS THROWING THING AT HIM (THEY TOUGHT IF WAS FUNNY, THEY COULD KILL HIM) COUPLE TIMES TEENS IN A CAR TRYING TO RUN OS OVER OR PEOPLE TAILGATING STUF LIKE THAT. NO WAY I WILL TAKE THAT CHANCE. (IS ONLY MY OPINION) |

| ABSOLUTELY NEVER would I let my dog ride w/ me on the motorcycle. It makes absolutely no sense. It's not that I'm afraid of falling off my bike either, it's other hitting me that I'd be concerned about. IF I fell, I'm pretty safe w/ my riding gear. My DOG??? Yeah, those Doggles and harness aren't going to prevent me from crushing him/her when I fall; nor is it going to save her noodle from getting split on the pavement. Just not worth it. Their bones/tendons/ligaments aren't going to survive a high speed fall like that even if she/he had the same amount and quality riding gear that I have on when I ride. Sorry, this is something that I'm passionate about if you can't tell. It'd be like strapping an infant to your chest imo. It simply wouldn't be done. |

| I'd have to agree with YorkieK9Trainer, Yorkie Mommy and Panama69. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU and keep you safe, to all that decide to take that risk with your pet or your child on a ride. |

| Wosie the Motorcycle Mama! My fur girl has been riding since she was 10 months old! Call me irresponsible if you want to, I don't care. I would much rather have Wosie with us then leave her at home! And for goodness sake, if you fire up that bike and she is NOT on it, she has such a fit, it's just not worth it, lol! Dave won't take her if he's alone, but if we go together, the Wose comes along! And 4 year old Dreama went for her first ride along with her sissy 3 weeks ago! She didn't seem to enjoy it as much as Wosie, but she settled down near the end and was happy to be with us! Here's a vid of Wosie on the Harley! WOSIE THE MOTORCYCLE MOMMA
