| ----Yorkiemom55, it sounds like it wasn't used properly and that's the results you get. What a shame. It makes a bad name for the collar when it should make a bad name for the person who strapped on the wrong collar for the wrong dog, or simply misused it. Sorry to hear about the little one.[/QUOTE] When we got her she wouldn't bark or make any noise. If you try and pick her up or groom her she just becomes limp. Her groomer called her a "noodle dog". My sister knew the family that had her before me and they would zap her if she made any noise. When the collar didn't work any more they taped a 9v battery to a collar and would come at her with it to be submissive. They had 3 big dogs and her in a little house and didn't want her to be "yappy". It's been a long journey to get her where she is today.

| That goes to show you that electronic collars should only be used in certain circumstances and only as long as needed. It's the number one collar to be abused in the canine community. And while I do feel it has it's place, it shouldn't be available to the general public imo. That really is a shame and quite frankly pisses me off. Poor girl. |

Truffles hasn't been to a movie yet, so I guess I could start saving the stubs starting now!
