| What's the best urine odor remover for rugs? Max is doing well with his retraining after being neutered. Of course, he's leashed near me all day and crated at night, but he's going on the paper and decided to train himself to go outside. He also decided to learn to poop on the paper. I wasn't that concerned about the last two at the moment. I really just wanted him to stop peeing all over the house! Anyway, when I'm finally able to let him loose, I know that the carpet still has the urine smell and he will pee there because he has had a few "mistakes" for which he was immediately crated. I doubt if any amount of punishment will stop him though if the odor is in the rug. I have already gotten rid of almost all of my area rugs and can easily get rid of the last 3, but like my wall to wall carpeting. Is there any product out there that really works to get the urine odor out? I'd like to try whatever I can before I pull up the carpeting. Thanks, Judy |

| i use simple solution and white vinegar and water... dont know if you will ever get that smell out.. their noses are pretty nifty... lexi still pees in the same spot ... cant do anything about it, but rip up the rugs and that will eventually happen.

| I swear by Nature's Miracle! Love the stuff, and even keep a bottle in my laundry room to treat tough stains before clothes washing. I even used this on a rug in my MIL's house that had a large four year old coffee stain, and it took it out! Just make sure you leave it on the recommended amount of time so it can do the job. It can be found in just about any pet store, including Petsmart and Petco.
