| Pet strollers allowed anywhere? Hi everyone, Just wondering...Are pet strollers allowed in malls and places like that? I can imagine that they're not allowed in food stores, but can I take my dogs anywhere else that doesn't sell food as long as they stay in the stroller? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

| I'm kinda curious about this also. I guess the only thing we can do is try I do know that our malls don't allow it.

| I have to disagree about Wal-Mart. I got in with mine in a basket because the greeter wasn't there, but got told comming out that I can't do that again. This goes for all Wal-Marts. I've not had a problem going into the mall and all the stores there. |

| On Long Island, I have seen pet strollers in the mall ... Bloomingdales, Nordstroms and Macy's are all pet friendly .... even in a tote bag ...

| Thanks for the input guys, I guess I'll just have to try! I don't want to take them somewhere they're not allowed, but really want to be able to take them places with me.

| I took my boys to a mall here in Georgia during December, and I think I would have been fine, except that I chose a too public spot to unzip the stroller to give them water. A little boy approached and Mo went bezerk and started growling and barking- he hates men. I hastily re-zipped the stroller, but a security guard heard the commotion and came and told me no dogs in the mall. If I had watered them in a quiet spot I don't think anyone would have noticed. I did have a hard time getting up and down the mall because lots of people were attracted to sight of their cute selves and wanted me to stop and chat!

| I brought Skippy in a carrier into a computer store, and the salesman asked me if there was a dog in there. I said no it's my baby. He left me alone after that. |

| I live in CA too and although I don't own a stroller, have no problems taking Zoe to malls for the most part....outdoor malls, no prob, she can walk leashed but indoor malls, I have to carry her (but it'd be hippocritical if they said no to dogs period since they have a pet shop there) |

| Ny/nj Hi! We have taken our pups to malls, stores and food places in theeir stroller in NY/NJ area and no one has ever said no to us. I think most places don't mind becuase they are inside safely and are no harm to the store or to their consumers.
