| This evening we had some thunder and this is the first that Mattie has really heard --- he's only 15 wks. We're on the OR coast and haven't had much thunder lately but alot of Rain. Mattie heard it coming first. He was acting strange, kept looking around like something was up and then kept getting down by my feet and wanting up on my lap. And then we heard it and I knew what was going on. I guess it's true what they say about dog's knowing something up before we do.

| Zoey is so use to it, she'll go under the curtain to watch the lightning and hear thunder. She loves it, it's nuts. |

| No Longer a Member | Gizmo does the same thing, he breathes like he's about to hypoventilate and scratches at me til I'm awake. Ever so hard to get up for work the next morning, I felt so bad for him. Doc gave us some meds to give him if it looks like it's gonna last for awhile. He is five also and has never gotten use to it. |
