| ![]() What I did was get a childs tent. I put the pee pads in there, they like there privacy when going. Plus I don't care what other people think about pee pads. I like using them. We have fire ants down here, & I'm not having them step into them trying to go potty. Although with 3 babies we go through alot.

| ![]() Oftentimes you hear comments like these from people who have either never experienced having a dog or never tried the product. It is mostly due to ignorance. I don't have a fenced yard too and don't have the time to always take them out so I cannot imagine life without pads for my furbabies. They walk during spring and summer and relieve themselves whenever we are outside, but it is comforting to know that rain or shine or dark or dreary or snowy, I have the option to have them just do it on the pee pads. ![]() |

| ![]() If Max didn't have pee pads he would end up peing directly on the floor! I at work 9 hours a day and on the days Max is home (he goes to doggy day care 2 days a week) he uses pee pads. When I'm home he goes outside. He has such a small bladder I don't think he could go 9 hours with no peeing!! I would rather have it on a pad then on the floor.

I use pee pads too and never thought of them as gross. Well maybe if they were on my kitchen table while I was eating or something but jeez I'd rather him go on the pee pad than my floor or carpet. Now that's gross!

| ![]() Wow.. I just logged on and I'm shocked at the response! Thanks everyone! I got a good chuckle out of your replies. Now that I know so many other folks use potty pads and don't think they're gross, I'm definitely going to defend myself a little more the next time my co-worker brings the pads up... which she does quite often. I have never met someone so opinionated and rude as this woman is. Regardless of the subject she puts her two cents in and usually doesn't adhere to the rule that if you don't have anything nice to say you shouldn't say anything at all. Right about now would be a great time for her to bring up the pee pads since I'm a little fired up!! ![]()

| ![]() I am in infection control nurse, and understanding the concept of how disease is spread is the heart of my job. I have no fears at all about having piddle pads inside. I too dispose of the poo down the loo, and change the pad regularly. As long as dogs are given good vet care to keep them parasite free, and hands are washed after handling used pads, I don't see a problem with pads. Some people are too squeemish about the wrong things. For instance, the average computer keyboard has more bacteria on it than a toilet seat!

| ![]() I have posted on pee pads and my personal preference is not to use them. They were an eyesore and I just didn't feel comfortable with urine and poop out in the open like that. That's my personal feelings and preference and if someone asked me my opinion on them I would be honest. If they choose to use them..que sera sera... |
