| Lexie update: Lexie is doing a little bit better here and I have plans to have her spayed as soon as she is feeling like her old normal self because it was the recommendation of several vets that I have talked to that she is not safe to breed due to her history of false pregnancy and her size plus I do not breed larger females. I am still working on her recovery at this time and she is starting to eat some. She has also become very dehydrated. I have to hand feed her to get her to eat but she is eating now. I am very thankful to all of you that have prayed for her and sent well wishes! That has meant a whole lot to me! ;-) She is not severely ill! She is just stressed and she will be ok through time! Pretty soon she will be back to her normal wild little self and I look forward to that! I know things have been pretty crazy here lately and I am looking forward to everything calming down again! I love this site and I think the best of all of you guys! Thanks for being here for me and her through all of this! I will keep you all posted on how she does!

| I am so glad to hear Lexie is doing better. The poor girl has been through so much. It sounds like you have really been spending some time caring for her and have her best interests at heart. Best of luck to you and little Lexie

| I'm so happy to hear she is feeling better. I think any of us would feel a little sick after all the poor little girl went through!

| So glad to hear she is recovering. As for the dehydration - I Can Help!! Boil some chicken and give her the water you boiled the chicken it. It smells yummy and she should lap it up! We started doing this for Jewel when she was ill. Doc said a 4 pound dog need minimum of 1/4 cup a water per day so if you can get Lexie to drink 1/2 cup it should be great. It's amazing how dehydration can leave you feeling weak. Hope it helps
