| Howie is 13 pounds and sometimes I think that's huge... until I see him around any other breed of dog and realize just how small he really is!! The biggest yorkie out there is still a teeny tiny dog!

| You Do Get Used To Seeing Them Indoors - But When I Take Harvey Out And Everyone Always Makes Such A Big Fuss Of Him, I Can See How Small He Really Is. He Is 3.5 Lb At 11 Months Old. My Other Yorkie (benjie) Was Much Bigger And A Friends Yorkie (freeway) Was Tiny Compared To Mine - But Now Harvey Is Teeny Teeny Weeny Conpared To Freeway. They Are So Gorgeous Regardless Of Their Size - Little Fluff Balls......

| Mia was 9.6 lbs. during our last vet visit, and she seems normal size at home. Not too small, not too big, just Mia. But when we go out, and I see her at a distance she seems so small. I think it's really funny how that works out.

| Where the heck have you been missy!! We've missed you and your beautiful babies!! Now, to your question, I think Zeus is average size (7lbs) compared to other yorkies, but very small compared to other dogs.

| It all depends on if they are sleeping on our bed or not... We think they're huge when they are at home too, but when we go anywhere, they're tiny little creatures! |

| Is my little girl going to be big ? Hi.. first off .. i want to say hello to everyone. Love the site, the stories, the pictures.. great site. We just got our first baby.. a little girl that we named Hannah. She is 10 weeks old and 2 lbs. Does this mean that she will be big when full grown ? If anyone can help me out that would be great. I will love her any size she is though. Jen |

| Mine is 9.5 lbs. He looks big at home but when we are at the park (even with no big dogs to compare), he looks very very small.

| Sometimes when Sawyer is standing, I think, wow he has really grown; then I pick up my little boy, 4 pounds 3 oinces, and am amazed at how tiny he truly is!

| Mazie is right at three lbs, and is very lanky and bird-boned and "fragile" seeming. Kiki is right at five lbs, and is very broad and compact and sturdy in build. The other day my husband picked up Kiki and sd., "Kiki, you are a MONSTER compared to Mazie!" (she doesn't mind...she likes being big and tough! ) And it's true, she DOES look huge compared to Mazie....and then sometimes I look at her by herself, and think, "Omigosh....she is actually a TINY little dog!!!" It sure is easy to lose your perspective! Like some have said, even a ten lb dog is still VERY small! Good grief, we have a cat that weighs 16 lbs!

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | whats funny is my mom has a miniture shnouzer and i have 2 very small house cats and we thought they were all really small pets till we got Peeka and Boo now the shnouzer looks hugs and so do my cats lol Peeka and Boo are tiny to me i wouldn't want anything smaller it would scare the crap out of me! Peeka is a jumper he really does thing he is a cat(seriously) (i'm not kidding) he is very solid he weighs 4 lbs 4 ozs but he is so compact he looks so small Boo is around 4 - 4.4 he fluctuates but he is a little longer than Peeka but when i see them next to anything you relieze how tiny they are. I really hope i can get Daisy up to 5 lbs but it's doubtful she is 2lbs 8 ozs at almost 18 weeks Peeka was already 3 1/2 bls by that age but the breeder says that these girls grow slowly so there is hope lol

| this is kind of funny but I have 2 boys. One is 8lbs and the other 5lbs. My 8lb boy seems sooo big in the house bc hes being compared to the 5lb boy. But when I get them around other dogs and out of the house, hes soo small! It helps to keep me in perspective on just how small he really is. I mean an 8lb dog is not a big dog! haha |
