| How many of you have a yorkie that LOVES to get a bath? I was curious how many yorkies were out there that actually liked getting baths? Both of mine love to get baths! Jewelina especially loves bath time! If she hears the water running in the tub she starts going nuts and does circles and jumping up and down! She loves getting in the water and playing and she even seems to like it when I'm putting the shampoo and conditioner on her, like it's some kind of massage or something! She just sits there and will move around so I'll rub her other side and under her neck. She'll even get right underneath the faucet to rinse off on her own!! It's crazy, like she is part dolphin or something! Jaden doesn't mind bath time at all, but he's nothing like Jewelina. Jaden will get in and play for a while and let me shampoo and condition him with no problems whatsoever, he stands still and doesn't try to get away from me or get out of the water but he doesn't get as excited as Jewelina does when its bath time. If I get the blow dryer out she likes that even better and will roll around and play with the air that's being blown on her! LOL My groomer said he's never seen a dog that enjoys getting a bath as much as she does! I didn't know if anyone else had a yorkie that loved baths this much? |

If I'm in the bath then she wants to get in with me! Easiest way to bath her is with me sitting in it!

Sometimes I'll get in with Jaden or Jewelina but other times I think they have more fun in there without me, more room for their toys! | |

| Oh no! Poor you! I put a bunch of floaty toys in there with Jewelina and she goes crazy playing with them! Sometimes she even tries to swim but the water is too shallow so she looks like she's trying to be a weird turtle or something! LOL |

| Mine both HATE bath time, but really really HATE the haidryer!! Mine both hide when they see me getting out the grooming supplies preparing for bath time. I have to sneak up on them.

| Ajah loves her bath. It's the only time she's allowed on top of a counter. She gets to see a whole other world. |

| Bentley my yorkie poo loves bath time.. in fact if I leave the bathroom door cracked while I shower he'll attempt to jump in with me!!! It was quite a shocker the first time, haha! He loves anything having to do w/water in the rainy fall season he was all about jumping through puddles and I have a feeling he'll love swimming this summer! My other two fight it a little bit at first but then they usually start to enjoy the rub down with the shampoo.. but then it's back to trying to get away for the blow dry until momma breaks out the treats! |
