| Sounds like a bath is your only recourse. Glad I read your post though. I always bathe mine and put the Frontline on them immediately after. I've noticed it hasn't been working as well lately. Maybe that's the reason. Learn something new every day! |

| When I clean ears or clip nails, I wrap Lucy or Rebel in a towel. It helps immobilize them and that makes cleaning ears easy. If I'm clipping nails, I pull out one paw at a time. Maybe this will help.

| That's true about not bathing for three days after putting Frontline on.You also have to wait at least a day after a bath before putting it on. I found this out when I read the insert. The product works with the oils on the skin, if it's not there from bathing it won't work properly. Hope this helps

| I would say take a deep breath, relax and wait for tomorrow. It may be a better day, and you can make a decision about which is more important - a couple of extra days without the frontline or the bath. Is the ear cleaning stuff toxic? If not, you probably don't have to worry. Judy |

| I hope you decided to give her a bath. The vet suggested that I use Frontline on the 1st of the month making it easier to remember. She also said to use the Heartguard at that time, but I wait five days as that's a lot of chemicals for a little dog to deal with. As for the ear cleaning, she gave me a squirt bottle of this lite blue stuff and said to squirt a little of it in each ear before bathing. I squirt in a little and then squish her ear a little. I've been taking Debbie in the shower with me for a long time now and it works out very well. I know she is thoroughly rinsed and we have never had a problem with water in the ears. You have to go with what works for you and I've found taking a shower with her is very efficient and easy. |

| If the hair around the ears looks greasy, shampoo that area with a little Dawn Liquid dishwashing soap. It really works! |

| Dawn is the best. A friend told me about it after I spilled coffee on a white shirt. It took then coffee stain right out. Judy |

| Dang! wish I'd seen this about 2 hours ago. Tink has an ear infection too and her head was so greasy from the cleanser I couldn't stand it anymore. So I put cotton in her ears and gave her a bath only to discover that the shampoo doesn't cut the oil in the cleanser. so, while her head is much better, it's still quite oily. Ho hum. Tomorrow I'll try a little Dawn. |
