Car Seats Saved The Monkeys!

I have one but I don't always strap her.

I'm so glad you and the monkeys are all right! God was definitely looking out for you and the babies. I have a car seat for my 2 also, but Lucy doesn't like to sit in it. She gets strapped in with a harness and rides beside it.

There is a strap that attaches to their harnesses. I have a small car so I put a big pillow between the car seats (Simon likes to attempt to crawl out as far as he can go). The strap is adjustable though. The monkeys are both 7 pounds and wouldn't fit in 1 comfortably so I have always had 2. I put a blanket in there with them too for extra warmth.

The car seat itself is held in place by the seatbelts so it's super secure.

Ok thank you. I have a 2 seater car and can only use one car seat, obviously, so I was curious. thanks for the info

Glad that all three of you are safe. What a terrible way to start your day. You are a really good Yorkie mommy to make sure your furbabies are always buckled in. I wanted it to snow and now I'm allready tired of it.

glad your furbabies are ok but more important actually, I'm glad you're ok too.
Maggies carseat came yesterday and that is exactly the reason I bought her one. Plus when you have leather seats its even easier to sling them out because the seats are slicker.

WHEW !! That's too close for comfort but I'm glad you're all ok even though your car has to have minor surgery.....It goes to show maybe one more day in your jammies watching the snow fall may have been the thing to do ...I have a car seat and hardly use it but after reading this I think I'll go hook it back up. Amen !!! I'm so glad that none of y'all were hurt. Just imagine a little body like theirs being thrown with all that force! I'm a believer in carseats too, just like for our skin babies. My friends thought I'd lost it when I bought mine, but I shut them up by asking if they'd let their baby ride without one

oh that must have been pretty scary. Am so glad everyone is safe and unhurt Hurray for car seats. I have 2 that I use whenever I take my furbabies out (console and a lookout on the passenger side).
