| Do you think its bad? Hey all, I was just wondering if it is bad that my little Louie who is only 2 yrs old is such a little lazy bones......He sleeps so so much, like right now it is almost 11 am and he is still in bed. He does this everyday! He does get up to play for a little while but I would think he would have more spunk at his age. Well, I guess compared to Bella anyone would look lazy lol. But do you guys think that this is okay? He is very healthy otherwise.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali is like that and has been since she was 1 year old she's now 20 months old, but Pixie who is 13 months old has much more energy but still sleeps a lot. I think some just settle down earlier than others.

| I don't think there is anything wrong at all. It's winter time, too. Sometimes that makes a big difference in how much they sleep. When spring arrives, he'll probably want to be outside playing a bit more. Some are just more laid back than others.

| If they don't have much to do, they get bored and lay around. Mine love their home cooked breakfast and walks, so they always get me up around 7. |

| I have two real lazy bones! Ever since we got Topher about a year ago, he's not been a morning kind of guy! He just loves to laze about in the mornings and would be so happy if I stayed in bed for the whole time! As it is when I'm up and about he finds a comfy spot where he can see me and stays there til around noon. Sophie, who came to live with us in November at 11 weeks, soon caught on to Topher's schedule...hehe....she also loves her quiet mornings. (Both of them are at my feet in their snuggle bed right now. She's just starting to get playful while Topher is still sound asleep.) They do get up with hubby around 7 am to have breakfast with him, but go right back to bed once he goes to work. Once noon comes, though, look out. They play so hard all afternoon, then have another nap around 3, then play till bedtime. Once they go to bed we don't hear a peep from them till morning. They're very active, but they do love their sleep |

| I think it has to do with routines. I always get up early and have my coffee. All the dogs go outside for their morning pee (nothing but some nice cold brisk air to wake them up). Then everyone comes inside for canned food. Everyone just gets a little dibble, but it is something they look forward to. So anytime we get a new pup, they just automatically join in the routine and watch the excitment on the other dogs. They respond accordingly. Then onto waking the kids. All the dogs are excited to see the kids. I take the kids to school. Everyone goes outside for a little longer this time, most are ready to poop now. Then it's time to come in for a nap. Pretty routine at our house. |

| Skippy will stay in bed. It doesn't matter how much I sleep, he's still wrapped in the bed. |
