| Excited and Anxious I am picking up my yorkie puppy on Sunday I am so excited, and yet very anxious as to what to expect. I went to the local pet stores today, bought a harness and leash, doggy dish bowels, a yorkie book, and nutrical. I don't know what else I need to get!!!! What kind of toys should I get for him? What kind of treats? Am I forgetting something? Help! |

| Where is she going to be sleeping? Fun, isn't it? They love little squeaky balls and the little tug ropes and soft squeaky toys. Have fun buying toys and everything else!

| I'm not sure of where he will be sleeping yet. I do have a crate, but I don't really want him to spend all night in it. I was thinking of putting a children's gate up between my side of the bed and the wall (He won't be able to get under the bed since there are boxes under my side of the bed) and giving him an oversized feather pillow that I still have from Germany to sleep on. What do you think? I want to buy him toys, but I am unsure of how big he is. I was thinking of stopping at Walmart and Petsmart on the way home, taking him in and seeing what toys he would react best with. I can't wait! |

| My Hoku really likes her crate, I think she feels secure in the small space. But if the space you have next to your bed is small then he'll probably be fine. Plus you can hang your arm down the side of the bed so he can feel you. At first Hoku would whine for me and I'd stick my fingers in her crate so she could lay against them and she'd fall fast asleep. I would just pick out a couple small toys. I was afraid to take Hoku out to the pet stores when I first got her but I have since and yes, she does like to pick out her toys - LOL! Congratulations!

| It is so exciting, do you have his own little blanket for him? I had a baby blankie, and a stuffed toy for my girls to sleep with, it's warm, and comforting. |

| I found my puppy here on YT! I am actually going to meet the puppy on Sunday...we are driving North, a little past the city to pick him up. I have been shopping online for clothes and have an entire shopping cart filled up on Dr.FosterSmith (another recommendation from YT). My boyfriend is making me wait until we get him before I can put the order in, though. I wanted him to have clothes ready when he got here, but it's ok. |

| Maybe a hair brush, wipes, tearless shampoo, food (maybe you said that, if so ignore) and a snuggly crate buddy. And don't forget a couple of chew toys to keep him from chewing valuable things while he's teething. I know how you feel. I pick up my new baby tomorrow at noon. I can't wait . I've got everything ready for his arrival, but I know all my best laid plans will probably go out the window as soon as I look into that sweet little face. Good luck and post lots of pictures and I will too. |

What are you planning on using them for? I wouldn't use them on his face, I always just use a warm washcloth with just water.
