| Disney World in Florida?? Have any of you gone with your baby?? We are planning a trip to DisneyWorld in Florida might be next month. As some of you know I have Tinkerbell and Chiquito, and I would like to know if any of you have ever taken a trip there and did you have a problem getting a hotel?? I know when we got here to this military town they wouldn't take 2 dogs They told me I could only have one in the room of course I sneaked them in anyway I told one of managers that my 2 dogs(3 1/2 lbs and 5.6 lbs) equal one dog of course he didn't go for that I did feel uncomfortable snicking them in but oh well, I had to do it for my babies My problem is I most likely be leaving most of the day Do you have any suggestions??

| You lucky going to Walt Disney World. I went in Octoberand we are going back this Octber again. I cant wait. Anyway call around in Orlando i know there are Pet friendly hotels therre. Also disney World has a kennel. The only downfall is you have to go there everyday 2 times a day and walk your dogs. We didnt know if we woud be able to do that so we kenneled ours at home

| I know that all LaQuinta Inns take pets So do any MastersLodge. If you're going to be leaving them all day to go to the parks anyway, it may be better to have a family member watch them while y'all go. Do you have anyone that can do that for you? They do have a doggy sitter at the resorts there, but I bet it's super expensive Good luck, and enjoy your trip

| Thanks guys for the info. Actually I wish I had family to watch them but we are in Texas because we are military so no family here Most of my family lives in California, Oregon, Idaho and Mexico too far. I dont feel my babies would do well if I were to leave them in a kennel. I mean how do kennels work anyway?? Sounds scary to me. Maybe someone would like have them over for a week J/K!!!

| We stayed at the Sheraton Safari a few years back and they allowed pets. However, I didn't leave her there when we went to the parks. My son lives in Orlando and works at Disney, so I left her at his apartment. They do have kennels at the parks..but I have heard bad stories...I wouldn't leave my pet there. Now when we go down we always rent a house...it is usually cheaper than a hotel believe it or not and there are a lot of pet friendly homes included. Here is the link for the homes. The rate they give you is all you pay, no taxes on top of that...which in FL taxes on a hotel room are over 15%. http://www.villas2000.com/frbvo/central_pf.php Please PM me if you would like more info!

| Sounds like you are lucky, I just moved here in Sep. 06 and they go to Petsmart for their grooming, I dont think I want to leave them there. I guess I better start moving and find out what options I have. I had to postpone buying a new baby because of this same reason.

| Good! The link that I posted are all for pet friendly homes. I hope that you find something. We have done this twice...as recently as last Thanksgiving. You are about 10 minutes from the parks.

| I live a few hours away and I could watch them if you would like. My cousin used to be at Fort Hood and I have been there a few times. That is a very boring town...haha.

| We are taking our skin kids in July to Disney World. BUt we are staying in clearwater and just driving to Disney World for the day. We arent taking out dogs because their would be no room for our human kids!! Anyway you might consider a small condo, house, or apt. I looked into alot of them in just the last few days and many said pet friendly or inquire the owner about bringing pets. More options with these places then hotels for sure I noticed. We wanted a place right on the beach, so if you do too, you might find something you like and book it quick! I had a heck of a time finding what we were looking for because everything was being booked up already!! We havent taken a vacation in forever so I didnt realize finding a place we wanted would be such a challenge 5 month in advance. Anyway we are booked and ready!! |

| You are so sweet!!! I am going to try my best to take them with me, but your nice gesture sounds so tempting. Thank You so much, and Yes Ft. Hood is very boring...lol. We try to go to Georgetown or Austin if we want to get out for a few hours

| no problem...if you can't find a place or change your mind just let me know. Benji and Bella would love the company! My cousin and her Husband got transfered to Fort Rucker, AL last year and I went and visited them. Now that place is worse that Fort Hood. There is nothing at all there.
