I saw both of those puppies on puppyfind and the one for $1,000 is the same pic they use all the time and they are from Penna. so I think its just a photo and not the real dog! I'd be careful especially after all the people who have been taken with all different stories, even me who never got papers from the breeder!!

Both babies are adorable. But is so hard to trust nowadays. Do your research and hopefully you will get a beautiful pup soon for a reasonable price. I think $4000 or $10000 is ridiculous high.

I have sat here and bit my tongue as long as I can! What in the world are y'all thinking about if you are not spoiled brat stars with more money than brains? Why in this lifetime would you pay $4000.00 or $10,000.00 for puppies from a computer site where you cannot even hold the baby before you buy the puppy? Have you actually seen puppies from W.O.C, J.D, D.P, or several others that I will not even bother to put the initials on here for? I have not visited Puppy Find except when a friend tells me to check something out but I have never seen any puppy on there that is ACTUALLY worth those prices. Will somebody pay them? Sure! A fool and his/her money are soon parted. I am gonna stop right now, or I will say something that will get my butt thrown right off of this forum!! I have one more thing to say and that is-if you have that kind of money to spend, please buy a decent puppy for half that much and donate the rest of the money to a rescue who will be taking in these babies when the owners discover their t-cup weighs 12 pounds or their tiny is dying of PSS. Okay, I probably have hurt some feelings and I apologize for that. but I do not apologize for trying to open some eyes. If you will PM me, I will give you the names of some wonderful rescues that can use your donations.

I recently happened to stumble into a pet store (a reputable one, don't worry!) and pretended that I wanted to buy another yorkie just because that's what I do in my spare time... Anyway, they said that the price of yorkies in NY have gone up significantly. Archie was $850. Now, they're $2,200. I even heard a neighbor say that his mom was willing to pay $3,000 for one. We should all feel super-lucky to have our little yorkies!

I think if we want to rid the world of bad breeders and brokers and cheap puppymills we have to be willing to compensate the good breeders who are spending their hard earned money breeding these fur babies and taking the best possible care of them and their parents. The cheaper ones are usually the puppymill ones unless you go to a pet store where they are expensive AND they probably came from a puppymill. I saw a puppy in person last night that the "show" breeder was asking $10,000 for. She's here in southern California and she sells to movie stars and she will get $10,000 for this healthy teeny tiny baby she has and I see nothing wrong with that. This little one was the cutest baby I had ever seen! It didn't even look real and it probably won't get to 2 lbs as an adult but it was as healthy as could be! She was the first show breeder I had ever met. I felt like her puppies were fairly priced because she had some that were cheaper because they weren't as cute or they were going to be bigger and the demand is for smaller. The prices are going up. This breed is in demand and we have to recognize that part of the reason is that we are refusing to buy for the puppymills where they do everything cheaper. Good breeders spend money and pay for the best vet care for their precious yorkies and we have to be willing to pay the price for that kind of care. JMHO.

As I said in the last sentence in my post on this thread, I apologize if I hurt feelings. I want to explain my post-First, I had just finished proof-reading an article about these tinies and their problems and the cost and some buzz words to look for. AND, in the past year, I called a breeder who had Teacups advertised for a very large sum. Guess what he said when I told him I would post about him on every forum and tell people what kind of lousy person he was...he was happy! Yep! Said he was like celebrities-even bad publicity is still publicity and he welcomed any discussions anywhere cause he got more hits on his site afterwards.....can you imagine?
