How many of you would use SEX, yes Sex just to get a new puppy? Not just any puppy, a yorkie?::aimeeyork While in petsmart this girl held a cute white poodle while another lady talked about yorkies. Of course I was all ears as I played like I was :confused: while looking at puppy clothes. The lady with the poodle ooohed and aawwed as the yorkie owner gave her all the WRONG information. I was going to intervene when I hear the poodle owner make this statement: She goes, I want a yorkie so bad, I'm going to have to sex my guy up for an entire week to get one. I was like :eek: at "a week of sex" just for a puppy. My mind wondered as to how many weeks of sex she would put out for a dayum car.:D
How many of you had to SCHMOOZE up to your significant other to get your 1st or 2nd yorkie, or any pet for that matter? I need to know, because I must be doing something wrong.:( I paid for both of mines w/no help. I just got a steady boyfriend, I've been dating for a while till now. Maybe a week of sex would've paid for my new puppy. :D Thank goodness I don't use sex as a tool. LOL

I dont know about any of your but Im the one who is always asking for sex lol...Id probably have to promise not to bug him for sex in order to get a new yorkie lol...

That's just sad, sorry but I bought both of mine on my own. I've always been very independent and do what I want when I want to do it. If I want something, I go out and get it. I've moved past the 6 year old little girl having to ask "Daddy" before she can go get something...let alone having to butter some guy up to buy me something, I'm a grown woman now and I can pay for my own things :) If my boyfriend wanted to buy me something as a gift to say " I know you wanted this and I got it because I love you" fine, but a gift because "I got you this because you were sleeping with me" to me, that is just about as good as being a prostitute. I think anyone who sleeps with someone to get their way on something obviously does not have enough intelligence to get it with her brain and therefore must resort to using her body. So, my answer for this question would be no, I would never use sex as a means to something, it's stupid and petty to play with someones physical emotions that way you either always have it or you don't. Not, hm, maybe this week cause I'd like a diamond ring...oh and hun, I'm good this week I don't need anything....but next week I want that new suit at Saks and 5th so I'll be back then! Give me a break! :rolleyes:

I bought my yorkie on my own but it took me a little bit to convince my fiance that I needed her. However I did not use sex as the weapon.. I used the way I get my way every time..I just didn't drop the subject.Eventually he gave in and said Fine. and he loves her!

I don't think the woman at the store is necessarily talking about prostituting herself, nor do I think that she is not independent and can't pay her own way (though, that may be true too, there's just no way to tell from that statement alone). In any healthy romantic relationship there's a dose of play and flirtation when it comes to many things, which also includes buying items for each other. It could all be a part of their private romantic game. Or, it could be that he is her sugar daddy - who knows? There's a great book about this topic, the name of it is "Games people play" by Eric Berne. He talks about both "good" and "bad" games in relationships. An excellent read.

Would I personally do it? Maybe :D Depends if my personal need have been satisfied, like one of the posters above mentioned :p

Well I'm gleefully single now. But I was married for eight years - I didn't sleep with my husband especially to get my yorks - he helped me out with some $$ cos he wanted too - not because I put out.

However, I knew that if I wanted him to do some household chore there was only one time to ask - - the morning after! :D :thumbup: :D :thumbup:

But now - I'm all about satisfying the woman within ! Hooray for being single!:thumbup: :thumbup:

I've never used sex as a bargaining chip. Maybe it was more of a joking comment -- like "I will really have to butter him up for him to say yes" more than actually trading sex for puppy money.

I'm old now, I would probably do better promising to polish his golf clubs ...... than something else.....

I'm sure she meant it as a good thing. I've been married almost 16 years(together since we were 17) and I'm all in favor of trading some nookie for something I want :). It's just fun..yes, I'm sure he'd just give me what I want if I asked but this way is just plain easier sometimes!

Sometimes it just makes light of a situation when you're tired. Hubby will look a little frisky and I'll say "well...maybe...as long as you fix the front door today". I could totally see me saying "Honey, I'll make sure you get lucky every day this week if I can get a new puppy!". LOL It'd be a win win for both parties if you ask me.

yeah, this is pretty much me....well..I didn't buy her on my own...we are married now and share our money...but i did have to beg him and convince him. we had 2 dogs already and he just didn't want another dog. but now that we have her, he loves her more than anything. it is so sweet. but no, I did not use sex to get her and would never use sex as a tool for anything. he just realized how much it meant to me and decided to get her for me for christmas.

I use sex sometimes to get what I want...my husband doesn't realize that is what is happening...but it magically changes his mind...and I get what I want without an argument..whatever works:D
