| Dry, itchy, flaky skin I use CC Shampoo and conditioner on Gracie and Cowboy Magic. Her skin is so dry, it just flakes and flakes and flakes. Any suggestions? |

| Nico's did just that and I bought some Missing Link and after a week or so...I saw a big improvement. Now, after a couple months, NO FLAKY SKIN WHAT SO EVER! His coat is so shiny and is growing beautifully. I swear by that stuff!!! Try it if you aren't already!!!

| oh welcome to our world.. i've just spend the last hour picking flakes out of layla's skin... here is what i cna tell you.. hope it works... we are on missing link... have yet to see results.. but we just started so i have to give it time... layla gets fish oil in her breakfast (omega 3 oils are great for skin) every other week she gets an oatmeal bath... i put oatmeal lotion on her skin... and i give her salmon treats (again.. the omega 3) she eats food with no corn, chicken or wheat (the usual suspects for dry skin) and i am REALLY hoping it is because it is winter and cold cold cold here... good luck! i wish i could tell you what works for sure! |

| Tinkerbell has been having some skin/hair problems also, she recently turned 1 so I figured it was time to change her food to adult food and I choose Royal Canin Yorkshire 28 and now she has terrible flaky skin. I am also hoping is the cold weather and she gets better soon. I am so upset my poor baby is suffering

| My dog had the same problem and the vet gave me a dietary supplement containing Fish Oil, and vitamins A, D, & E. They're in gelcap form, so you can stick in in your dogs mouth and make them swallow it, or you can poke a hole in it and squeeze it in his food and just mix it up. That's what I do with mine, and it makes him eat even more of his food. lol. But I only give it to him about once a week now, because the problem was gone within about a week. Oh, you can get the supplement from PetSmart. They have a large variety for you to choose from. Also, my vet said not to bath dogs more than once a week or their skin will get to dry. And also, you should youse an oatmeal shampoo and conditioner becauxe it is more sensitive on their skin. Hope that helps! -Christina |

| well some people say you can get Missing Link at Petsmart, but you can't at my petsmart, so i had to go to a specialty dog store, i'm sure if you search it online you can get it somewhere too. I mix about 1/2 tsp in with layla's wet food that she gets in the morning only. you can also put it in plain yogurt or cottage cheese... it becomes a nice morning snack |

| I have never used missing link but I hear it is great. I have always had great luck giving my dogs brewers yeast. I swear by it. and it is very inexpensive and can be bought almost anywhere that dog supplies are sold.

| Your dog needs Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. The missing Link has only the Omega 3. You don't have to spend that much to get an even better oil. Just buy cod liver oil gel caps, give one a day. Add some fish to the diet. The best for the Omega 6 is Sardines. I use the Sardines packed in oil. About 1/2 of one sardine a day would be fine. |

| The label on my missing link package reads that the missing link has both omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. |
