| Grooming before all shots are completed I want to take my 4 month old girl Lula to the groomer w/her "brother" and she's had her first couple rounds of shots including rabies and parvo. Is it okay to let her go to the groomers? She DESPERATELY needs it. She's a lhasa/bichon mix and already her fur is out of control. |

| I would not do that. Some groomers also require you have all their shots. If and when you do take your babies to a groomer, I would advise getting them the kennel cough meds first. |

| My groomer will not take them without a copy of their shot records to show they are current. My groomer is in the same building as my vet so it makes it pretty convenient. |

| We had to wait to weeks after the last round of shots were given. I wouldn't do it to be safe!

| Where i used to groom we did only under strict rules. We use bleach to clean anyways but we made sure the appt was after the floor and tables were redone, they are the only dog in the shop (usually early morning) and all equipment was cleaned again in barbicide. I have seen some pups that are SOOOO matted already and need the grooming. They never touch the floor, our smocks are clean and everything was disinfected. They got there cleaning instructions form the vet. What about a groomer who also saintizes carefully but comes to your home?? There are inhome groomers out there.
