Where i used to groom we did only under strict rules. We use bleach to clean anyways but we made sure the appt was after the floor and tables were redone, they are the only dog in the shop (usually early morning) and all equipment was cleaned again in barbicide. I have seen some pups that are SOOOO matted already and need the grooming.
They never touch the floor, our smocks are clean and everything was disinfected. They got there cleaning instructions form the vet.
What about a groomer who also saintizes carefully but comes to your home?? There are inhome groomers out there.
