| Just an fyi imho, no reputable breeder would ever consider releasing a 7 week old pup that weighed just barely over half a pound. I would try to have someone that can check on him periodically through the day when you go back to work. Hypoglycemia is no joke. Good luck with your new pup.

| ok, I didn't read the reply about him eating like a horse until I posted that reply glad he is doing good. he is super tiny!! wow. I bet you adore him too. about the potty training...don't expect too much at 7 weeks. but something that has worked really well with us is putting bells on the door that goes to the back yard. maggie rings them when she needs to go out. ok...we want pictures

| I'd get the little pup an xpen, put in a snuggly bed and fleece blankies *baby size* food and water in there. I also attached a water bottle ALONG with the water dish for my baby because he liked to go swimming and would splash all the water out, . I agree.. don't leave collars on while you're gone or clothes. Put some safe toys in there for the little guy and he should be very comfortable. While I'm gone I also turn the tv or radio on, so that the house isn't silent |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | First, congratulations on your new baby! New babies are always fun. He'll get the potty thing down but will take a few months. My concern is his size (not to mention his age). Has he been tested for liver shunt?
