I'd get the little pup an xpen, put in a snuggly bed and fleece blankies *baby size* food and water in there. I also attached a water bottle ALONG with the water dish for my baby because he liked to go swimming and would splash all the water out,
. I agree.. don't leave collars on while you're gone or clothes. Put some safe toys in there for the little guy and he should be very comfortable. While I'm gone I also turn the tv or radio on, so that the house isn't silent
