| I'm sorry you're so worried. We all do it, though. After all, they are our babies. Will someone be home with her after you bring her home again? My vet does same day surgery, where you take her in of a morning and bring her home in the evening. I never put anything on mine afterward, but some people do. But, then again, she had internal stitches, not external stitches. Try not to worry. They don't feel well enough the first night to do anything anyway, as a rule. However, mine was ready to start playing a little bit the second day. You can't keep a healthy yorkie down for long. Just don't let her jump. Best of luck to you.

| Don't worry about it right now. My little girl never bothered her stitches and healed just fine. If your little girl does bother her stitches, there are several options besides a onesie, so don't feel like it's the end of the world if that happens. Good for you getting her spayed!

| One thing I did was I took an old turtle neck of mine, & cut the sleeve off. I made a long nightie to cover the stitches. Between the meds & the long nightie, neither one bothered the stitches. Although I was home the whole time to watch them also. At night if they tried to lick them, I'd put the collar on them so I could get some sleep.

| You're not paranoid at all. We all feel the same way as you do.

| It is so hard when our babies have to go through this - but they usually do better than we do! Good luck with everything!
