| Does Yorkies like to 'lounge' by nature? I am aware that Siu Pao loves to lounge, just sitting around relaxing, if ot then eating/playing/walking but lounging is one big part of his life. Are your yorkies the same too?

| Yep, Tatum is a very laid back "lounger". I'd always heard that Yorkies were a bit hyper but I don't see that in her. I also had a toy poodle before Tatum that was very laid back also which I think was not really the norm for poodles. I think a lot of it has to do with their environment. Could also be that she is our only "inside dog". She can run like the wind and get crazy as all get-out with our Australian Shepherd outside but she's quite content to be a lap baby inside.

| Yeah, I even had someone tell me not to get a yorkie, b/c they are so incredibly hyper and NEVER sit down. ??? Mine have lounging down to an art! Sure they have their regular play times, and "wild" times....then it's back to napping!

| My two girls are loungers as long as there isn't anything else to do. Like when I'm busy doing the ironing, cleaning or on the computer. Otherwise they would go, go, go if I were to spend ALL my time playing and walking them. |

| Biddy & Gertie love to run and play, but Tucker is SO lazy. Before I even got him his breeder told me that he loved to "sit around and watch TV". We thought she was kidding! He lays on the couch and watched my husband play video games for hours (obviously, my husband is also a "lounger" )

Tee hee hee. Before I got Siu Pao, I never thought Yorkies can be 'loungers'. All the Yorkies I have met are either hyper or yappy or both at the same time. I have met a Yorkie, a showdog; he is very small and cute but when he starts barking, he can't stop and oh boy..he is loud for his size! And he will do crazy turns while barking at the same time! I did know I wanted a mellow, quiet Yorkie though and maybe that is why I picked Siu Pao or fell in love with him. He doesn't really watch a lot of tv and I think your baby is so cute and also the way the breeder describe him hehe. Mine loves to sit on the couch and chill out and look out of the window at the same time. I guess the window is his tv huh?
