Probably a good choice. I've had good experiences and bad experiences. Glad to hear you can report high shipping costs to e-bay though...sweet! I had no idea Coach (and others) made dog collars. Boy do I have a lot to learn!

Hi guys. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade but having an old man with a collapsed trachea I've read a lot AND, it's suggested NOT TO put a collar on a Yorkie. The suggestion is to use a harness ONLY. I know I love the Coach collars too and I'm sad they didn't make a harness. If you guys want a really really nice designer harness I have a website where I bought Tia a Louis Vuitton harness and leash set. It's a comfy harness and it's really beautiful. They custom make them to fit your dog. I think the harness is $59 and the leash I can't remember off the top of my head. They have all kinds of designer material. Louis, fendi, gucci etc. I personally bought and love the classic Louis Vuitton brown. Anyway, if anyone is interested in the website send me a PM and I'll send you the link. The woman was very nice to deal with too - it's a husband and wife team that make them and they also make scarfs and hats etc. Elaine

Ebay sellers start the auction at super low amounts and then depending on how bad you want it you will pay the same or even more than at the store. Be very careful with the authenticity though, I have seen wonderful looking replicas but never less a replica. How big is Royce? The Coach collars are rather thick and very hard leather material which is a little uncomfortable for smaller dogs, I had ordered the smallest size for Ninna while they were still available at the stores but returned it because she was very uncomfortable. She now has a Fox and Hound collar with rhinestone buckle, the leather is much softer and it is much thinner which is perfect for her. Good luck!!

Grayson's collar is for looks and to let everyone know he is microchipped.

We use the d rings on his clothes to attach his leash too! I am sorry you are having problems with the trachea on your "old man"

but, I thought a regular collar is NOT recommended for yorkies.....supposed to use a harness due to potential damage of the trachea....

Anyone know for sure?????
