| ![]() i have loved and do love remmie. i have put a lot of effort in to my dogs. i have designated the upstairs as there area, the crates are up their, toys, food, beds, etc.. i have work with them on training but i will admit i am better training larger dogs then little. i have always wanted yorkies and have always wanted to breed one day. give me a rott i'll have him trained in a matter of days, give me a yorkie.. it takes a lot more. i try to keep them on schedules, and i have given more attention to remmie because for some reason he has bad habits. i would really like to know where these habits orginated from. but i dont know what else to do with remmie but if i do rehome he is just going to have the same problems so where else |

| ![]() Oh yeah, what did you do after he bit you. Did you put him on his back until he surrendered and was submission? |

| ![]() Food aggression doesnt mean they are an aggressive dog. He is not submissive. We had a problem one time with Chachi doing that. He got a chicken bone and went under a little couch we have with it. When I went to take it away Chachi sstarted lunging at me. My Husband tried to take it away and he did the same thing. My Husband lifted up the couch grabbed him and put him on his back in a submissive positon and told him no. He has never did it again. When they do it you have to do something that tells them you wont tolerate it

| ![]() i dont believe that about the people being broke IF the other dogs are well behaved. i do realize that each dog is different. i got remmie from a lady about an hour from me. i went to see one dogs and came home with him. she had 4 puppies there. he was my first real yorkie, at least that is what his papers say. so i joined here, then learned about brokers and im pretty sure thats what the lady was the orginally had him. because the breeder lives in sc or nc i am undecided about what to do with remmi i should have not posted when i was angry because i got feedback that i should have expected i do understand that most are trying to be helpful. but they also dont know that i have worked with remmie since i had him as a pup. i am very frustrated with is behavior. i would get him fixed if i had the chance right now. but i dont have extra cash right now we are recovering from christmas. yes i know what you are thinking wow why did she get another dog, when she cant fix her male. well first he was free, second all the vaccines were done, 3rd it was the exact dog my husband wanted and truefully i felt bad that my husband didnt have a dog of his own yet he bought me all the dogs i wanted. he told me i could keep remie and we would make it work with the county, his friend would get him licensed in the county under his name. but i didnrt feel comfortable with that so i deceided to find him a home and at my uncles house he would be a only dog so i thought that worked perfect and they were going to get him neurted. he was picked up thursday at 8pm and my uncled called at 10 this morning |

| ![]() At his age, neutering may or may not help him. But I would still have him neutered for health reasons. Is this aggression only towards food or is it towards of all his possessions or can you tell me when he does it???

| ![]() Well since you don't think its you then rehome him to somene else. If it is Remmie then if may be something genetic in his temperment especially if you think you got him from a broker and never say the parents. Who knows ![]() IMO I think you should rehome him before you really start resenting him for his behavior, and the fact that you have had to go more out of you way for him then any other dog you have, because if you reread you postings if sound like you alread do. ![]() |
