| Question to all YT Teapots... How much did your Teapot weigh at 4 months? I just got home from Maggie Mae's 16 week & final round of shots vet appointment and she weighs a whopping 7.7 pounds!! I knew she was bigger than average, but the vet says she'll probably end up weighing 15 pounds. We'll love her even more, but I am wondering if that estimate stacks up to your dogs actual growth chart! She weighed 5 pounds at 12 weeks and the vet said it's normal to multiply the 12 week weight by 3!

| Chewie was 6 lbs. 7 ozs. at 12 weeks. He is over 15 pounds now, I just don't know how much over? He is a solid chunk and I love him totally. He is far from a pocket pal, but is a great heat pad when he sits on me! Good luck with your baby. The big ones are more to love!!! Oh! CHewie is 15 months old now. |

| I always heard double the 12 week weight or triple the 8 week weight. But no matter, they are all just guesstimates -- only time will tell for sure.

| I think it varies...Max was 6lbs at 4 months but he grew slowly and is now 11lbs. Abbie was 5lbs at 3 months but she had a growth spurt within a month and grew to 7lbs at 4 months. She is now 14 lbs. The growth chart was off when predicting their weights because Max should have been around 18lbs and Abbie should have been 21 lbs according to the growth chart.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Lex was about 4 lbs if I remember correctly. He is now at 14 months old 9.5 lbs. As a baby he didn't look to be that weight when I got him. The vet was suprised when we had put him on the scale. The vet said that he has dense bones. You are definitely gonna have yourself a healthy teapot there.

| Reesie was 6 lbs at 4 months, 9 lbs at a year and now almost 11 lbs at 16 months. I think she's a perfect couch cuddler. |

| Isn't the weight determined by the size of the parents? Brandi's mom weighs 5 lbs and her dad is about 7 lbs....at her 6 month visit to the vet she was 4 lbs 9 oz....I tried to weigh her with me on my home scale but that was really unsuccessful......although I do know she was less than 5 lbs and she's 9 months now |

| I don't think you can ever be completely sure until they are full grown. Good luck with your little one no matter what size she ends up being!!!
