I think it varies...Max was 6lbs at 4 months but he grew slowly and is now 11lbs. Abbie was 5lbs at 3 months but she had a growth spurt within a month and grew to 7lbs at 4 months. She is now 14 lbs. The growth chart was off when predicting their weights because Max should have been around 18lbs and Abbie should have been 21 lbs according to the growth chart.
